No lecture. Half our clients started here.

Behind on the books does not mean you are bad at business. It means you need a clean place to start.

A clear quote, in writing

Know the price before we start.

Catch-up work is priced per month behind, based on the number of accounts and transaction volume.

Example: 8 months behind, one checking account, one card, about 120 transactions a month: roughly $1,600.

How we catch you up

Four steady steps, no 40-page spreadsheet.

  1. 01

    Start with a short call

We talk for 20 minutes. Then you send statements or read-only access.

  2. 02

    Get a fixed quote

Within two business days, we give you a written price per month of records, usually $175 to $350.

  3. 03

    We work oldest month first

Every account is reconciled to the statement. Unknown items come back as one short question list.

  4. 04

Hand clean books to your CPA

You get a clean profit and loss, balance sheet, one-page fixes summary, and a file your CPA can use.

Typical timing

Up to 6 months behind: 2 to 3 weeks.
12 to 24 months: 4 to 8 weeks.

Up against a tax deadline? When we have room, we can rush the work for 25% more. We will tell you on the call if we do not.

“I was eleven months behind and embarrassed about it. Ingrid gave me a price on the first call and had it done before my CPA's deadline.”Dana K., Two Harbors

What to send

A box of receipts is fine.

Catch up, then decide what is next.

Most catch-up clients move onto a monthly package afterward. Nobody has to.
